    Didn't know 7zip is not available for Mac =( Does anybody know if they are going to release it?

    Feel free to add any alternative to 7-Zip for Mac that you know.

    Yes, you can! Google: 3 things (individually);
    1. Install Mac Ports
    2. Install "Brew" terminal (HomeBrew sort of like APTGET)
    3. Then paste the cmd: "sudo brew 7zx"
    After installing, you should be able to fire open a terminal shell and type
    "7z x [drag the archive into the terminal window after the space and press Return"].

    How can I install 7-Zip on OS X? I would like to be able to run 7-Xip from the command line on Mac. Does anyone have instructions on how to set this up?
